Join an exciting developer of DG assets, who are seeking a Senior Analyst to support the management and optimisation of its rapidly expanding renewable energy portfolio, focusing on solar and battery technology. With backing from a clean technology investment company, and over 150 operating assets, this role is an exciting opportunity for someone to directly impact the operational efficiency, profitability, and compliance of their assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and optimising the performance of renewable energy assets, ensuring adherence to PPA, REC, and contractual obligations.
- Develop detailed financial and operational reports, track performance indicators, and provide insights to internal teams for informed decision-making.
- Utilise asset management platforms and data tools to analyse performance data, identify trends, and propose improvement strategies for optimising output.
- Support the management of critical contracts (e.g. O&M, PPAs, warranties) ensuring compliance with agreed terms and managing any amendments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, data analytics, or a related field. Master's preferred.
- Up to 3 years' experience in renewable energy asset management, with a focus on solar or BESS.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, data management systems, and asset optimisation tools.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
