What We Are Looking For

The candidate for this position must possess the ability to manage warehouse-related data, prepare long term logistic strategies, and generate reports to improve operational efficiency. For this purpose, proficient Excel and PPT skills is essential, along with strong communication and work performance skills supporting the Sr. Shipping/Materials Manager and the Shipping/Toano Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic plan establishment and progress for warehouses
    • Ensure Optimal utilization of staff, space and process
    • Assist with new project such as 3PL, and the launch of new goods, as needed
    • Recommend and implement improvement strategies to optimize operation, reduce costs, and improve service level
    • WMS/SAP - responsibilities - set up locations, troubleshoot, and provide training of the systems
    • Warehouse Budget and Investment Management
  • Inventory
    • Maintain parts inventory accuracy
      • At least 40% of working hours spent in Parts Area managing inventory storage, accuracy, and planning of new goods space and flow dynamics
    • Prepare and report daily, monthly and quarterly inventory
    • Lead cycle counts/physical inventory check while managing daily logs
    • Conduct stock analysis using ABC classification and work to prevent obsolete materials
    • Perform WMS/SAP inventory discrepancy comparison analysis
  • Shipping
    • Maintain continuous communication with AMO & sales team, and resolving any challenges that arise
    • Monitor and report on daily shipment
    • Conduct customer claim analysis and implement prevention plan
  • Receiving
    • Enter, confirm, and schedule all receiving-related data
    • Ensure daily WMS-SAP data accuracy
  • Data analysis
    • Inventory discrepancy analysis
    • Report warehouse ledger
    • Maintaining and creating logistics-related data
  • Warehouse support
    • Packaging material and warehouse supplies control
    • Warehouse equipment management
    • Purchase warehouse supplies
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • A two year college degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • One to three years of experience in a warehouse or factory environment.
  • Must be advanced Excel skills - pivot tables, V lookup, formulas, charts
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power point, Outlook, and general internet research. Must be familiar with SAP (MM module) and WMS
  • Thorough knowledge of detailed warehouse tasks such as receiving, shipping, inventory management, and bookkeeping.
  • Excellent ten key by touch, and numerical data entry skills
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in data analysis and reporting
  • Service parts experience
