The Employment Banking & Revenue (EBR) Information Technology Delivery Center (ITDC), Solutions Management Cross Application Integration Division, is seeking an ambitious and dependable Senior Applications Developer to serve as a lead administrator and subject matter expert of the BigFix/ILMT tool. BigFix is an endpoint (servers and desktops) solution that enables seamless automation, discovery, and management of endpoints, and it is especially useful for software deployments and audits. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Senior Applications Developer, you will be responsible for the reliability and availability of the BigFix/ILMT system, in addition to participating in the GlobalScape/MoveIT team as part of EBR ITDC shared solution organization. This professional assists the team with providing reliability and availability of the secure managed file transfer systems, including GlobalScape and MoveIT. You will utilize appropriate tools and techniques to achieve integration within our MFTP systems and secure file transfers that are made through the public internet while also ensuring that data is encrypted during transmission and at rest. This position consults with technical leadership, the technical support division chief, and IT department management, agencies, and other government and vendor community experts concerning the latest developments in hardware and software deployments in a full three-tiered computing environment. Work involves supporting computer system architectures, defining the computing environment, establishing application development parameters, executing technology innovations, and stabilizing the platforms for BigFix/ILMT. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4; orFive years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; orThree years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; orOne year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field;orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.
