Senior Assembler/Transformer Winder

Wind high voltage coils used in electrical equipment according to wiring diagrams or drawings, using coil winding machines and hand tools. Cut, strip, and bend wire leads using pliers and wire scrapers. Select and load materials such as spools, workpieces, objects, and machine parts onto equipment used in coiling processes. Epoxy, coat, dip, or pot transformers to reinforce and seal coils. Work with engineering and test technicians to understand and correct deficiencies as they occur. Perform mechanical assembly using screw drivers, pliers, wire strippers, torque wrenches and other mechanical tools that are required. Requirements

* Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of coil winding and transformer assembly experience.

* Must be able to understand prints, schematics, parts lists, wiring diagrams and other basic hardware characteristics.

This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a U.S. Person as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
