Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Undergraduate Enrollment, the Associate Director will recruit and admit qualified students to Emmanuel College and coordinate the transfer admissions recruitment plan in order to meet the enrollment goals of the college and to support the mission of Emmanuel College.

Essential responsibilities will include:

  • Recruit domestic first-year and transfer students through attendance at high school visits, college fairs, campus programs and virtual events (travel necessary).
  • Responsible for interviewing prospective students; reviewing applications; and making initial admissions decisions.
  • Participate in admissions committee decisions; maintain contact with prospective students from initial stages of inquiry through enrollment; and plan and organize on-campus and off-campus recruitment events.
  • Assist with the development of in-depth recruitment and communication plans designed to target important populations including first-year students, transfer students, parents and school counselors.
  • Assist in the development of enrollment marketing initiatives to extend the reach of Emmanuel College in order to meet the enrollment goals of the college.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Admissions Leadership Team on the development of on-campus events, enrollment strategy, lead sourcing and recruitment planning at all stages of the funnel.
  • Co-facilitate trainings with admissions counseling staff on recruitment strategies, territory management and SLATE Projects
  • Directly supervise 2-3 counseling team members and/or directly supervise and lead strategic projects for the Office of Admissions.
  • Complete special projects as requested by the Dean and by the Director of Admissions Marketing and Recruitment
Job Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and preferably a Master's degree. Candidates should have at least four years of experience in admissions, recruitment, marketing or a related field.
