Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and collaborative Senior Associate Attorney to join our projects-oriented law firm. As a key member of our nationwide Airports practice, you will support our Public-Private Partnerships and Alternative Project Delivery practice, working directly with clients and partners on complex airport commercial transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key member of our nationwide Airports practice, supporting our Public-Private Partnerships and Alternative Project Delivery practice
  • Work directly with clients and partners on negotiating and drafting agreements supporting complex airport commercial transactions
  • Advise clients nationwide on federal regulatory requirements regarding airport development, airport finance, construction, procurement, and environmental matters
  • Have opportunities for periodic travel to attend client meetings and industry conferences

Requirements:

  • 7 or more years of relevant transactional or regulatory experience
  • Exceptional writing, legal drafting, analytical, negotiating, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to professionally interact with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to think through complex legal and business issues and work collaboratively to advise clients
  • High comfort level in working both independently and in a team environment
  • Academic excellence and leadership, with a law degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction (CO, NY, DC, or CA, preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the federal regulatory framework in which airports operate, or with other transportation regulations and/or federal transportation agencies
  • Experience drafting bespoke agreements and other documents supporting innovative commercial transactions
  • Experience with airport operations, airport law, and/or other aspects of aviation
  • Demonstrated interest in public infrastructure, aviation, transportation, public policy, and/or related matters
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a collegial, team-focused approach to legal practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Position Details:

  • Full-time position located in Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, New York, NY, or Washington DC
  • Annual expectation of 1,600 billable hours, with unlimited approved pro bono hours
  • Periodic travel required for client meetings, industry conferences, and opportunities to visit with colleagues in other Firm offices
