Your expertise in troubleshooting electrical, PLC/HMI, and networking issues will ensure seamless operations and efficiency.

The Senior Automation Engineer role responsibilities

  • Automation Standards: Participate in the design, development, and upkeep of company automation standards in SCADA/HMI/PLC programming.
  • Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive electrical and networking diagrams for large-scale projects using AutoCAD or SolidWorks. Develop technical documentation, including technical user manuals and detailed design specification documents.
  • Automation Solutions: Design, develop, test, and maintain automation solutions in both electrical and software domains across various process areas.
  • Inverter and Power Supply Upgrades: Troubleshoot and upgrade AC-DC inverters and/or DC power supplies for Energy Cube testing.
  • Remote and Flexible Work: Be available to work on PLC/HMI/SCADA/Server/Electrical applications at any time, including nights, weekends, or holidays, to align with production downtime.

Education and skills needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Expertise in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining large-scale automation solutions.
  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience in PLC and HMI/SCADA programming, specifically with Allen Bradley.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in robotic arm programming, preferably with Fanuc, interfacing with PLCs.
  • At least 5 years of experience with networking protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, RS485, and CIP Safety.
  • Over 8 years of experience in electrical troubleshooting for 24VDC, 120VAC, and 480VAC systems, as well as experience with 1000VDC electrical circuitry and components.
  • Proficient in Allen Bradley (Rockwell Automation) PLC/HMI/SCADA, Fanuc Robot Arms, MES, Historian Server, and SQL Database solutions.
