As a leader in home health care, we help kids achieve their best lives at home and in their communities while providing our employees a fun and rewarding place to work.* Position: Senior Benefits Analyst* Location: Roseville, MN* Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p* Hybrid work scheduleTHE POSITION:The Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for designing, managing and analyzing the Companys employee benefits programs including health and welfare plans, supplemental and fringe benefits, leave of absence administration, workers compensation and 401k plan. This role ensures compliance with federal and state laws, oversees employee benefits administration and provides strategic recommendations for optimizing benefits offerings.* Program Development and Management:* Develops, plans, implements, directs, and participates in the design, administration, and renewal of all employee benefits insurance and other supplemental and fringe benefits. Periodically performs cost analysis and forecasting of applicable benefits. Audits cost, commissions, and service of third-party vendors. Periodically conducts competitive bidding for services related to benefits. (Existing and acquired companies).* Analyze current programs and recommend improvements to align with organization goals and industry standards.* Benefits and 401k Administration and Workers Compensation:* Oversee the day-to-day operations of benefits programs, including enrollment periods, termination and changes.* Oversees and participates in all workers compensation administration, partnering with insurers and legal teams to support case resolution and to facilitate execution of claim determinations.* Oversee and participate in all 401k plan administration, including 401k plan audit in partnership with the accounting team and the Companys 401k recordkeeper.* HRIS system support for the design, set up and execution of all benefit plans, including interface with benefit/401k carrier portals.* Leave of Absence and Compliance:* Oversees and administers leave programs including FMLA, MPLA, ADA, disability, military, personal leave of absences and short- and long-term disability.* Ensure compliance with laws such as ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and state-specific regulations.* Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations. Consults with the Companys benefits broker, management team, legal counsel and 3rd party consultants regarding issues related to areas of responsibilities and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting compliance with applicable laws and regulations.* Regularly and appropriately documents, audits, and reports activities and data for evaluation and to identify potential issues and trends.* Employee Education and Communication:* Collaborates with and advises management and employees in matters related to areas of responsibility, (i.e., benefits and leave administration).* Designs and delivers materials, presentations, benefit awareness campaigns and management/employee educations sessions on benefits offerings.* Acts as a subject matter expert to address employee inquiries.* Responsible for researching, benchmarking, updating, and collaborating with management to develop, implement, interpret, and enforce employment policies related to areas of responsibilities.THE QUALIFICATIONS:* Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field and 5-8 years of experience in benefits administration, leave management, and compliance.* CPP, CEBS, PHR, or SHRM-CP preferred.* Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with financial analysis tools.* Ability to interpret complex regulations, conduct cost analyses, and identify trends.* Strong skills in designing materials, presenting, and addressing employee inquiriesTHE COMPANYPediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has provided high-quality DME and nursing services to medically fragile children since 1990.
