As a Benefits Specialist at West Shore Home®, you will contribute to this mission by providing exceptional support to the Benefits team. You will report directly to the Director of Total Rewards and work closely with your team of benefits and wellness specialists. Why Work at West Shore Home? - Administer employee benefits plans such as medical, dental, vision, life, Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), voluntary plans, and 401(k) plans.
- Coordinate payment of claims and administrative fees with vendors and the Accounts Payable department.
- Act as liaison between the Company/employees and various insurance carriers and plan administrators. Advise employees on interpretation of plan provisions.
- Coordinate and administer activities of Company's 401(k), including annual audits, compliance, and required notifications.
- Assist with Open Enrollment annually, including coordinating meetings, preparing data, and setting up plans and employee premiums in the Dayforce HRIS.
- Enroll new employees in benefits plans utilizing the HRIS system and provide benefits information to eligible employees.
What It Takes to SucceedAt West Shore Home, we are Default Aggressive towards our goals and take Extreme Ownership of our results. We'll provide you with the training and tools to set you up for success, and we hope that you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree, Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
- 5+ years' experience overseeing benefit administration preferred.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel skills, specifically vlookup formulas.
- Experience with Dayforce HRIS software preferred.
- Superior customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication.
- Must have a valid smart phone or smart device to log in to Company required systems using two-factor authentication
