Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain both recurring and ad hoc reports/dashboards in Tableau to track firm-wide investments.
- Oversee ETL processes for the intake of portfolio investment data.
- Collaborate with investment teams to gather business requirements and translate them into analyses that support investment decision-making.
- Conduct due diligence and perform data analysis on potential new investments.
- Provide support for ad hoc analyses and special projects to address specific business questions, offering actionable recommendations while adapting to changing business needs.
- Develop optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce data reload times.
- Monitor data quality, analytics, and metrics outcomes.
- Automate ETL tasks to improve efficiency across firm operations.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3 to 10 years of experience in business intelligence/analytics.
- Preferred technical expertise in:
- Data analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- ETL platforms (Alteryx, Airflow, Airtable).
- Programming languages (Python).
- Database knowledge (SQL or similar).
- Cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel as a power user.
- Commitment to the company's workplace policies, including a hybrid work schedule requiring four days in the Chicago office (Monday - Thursday).
- Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Financial services experience is a plus (e.g., debt capital markets, asset-backed lending, securitization). #J-18808-Ljbffr
