Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for metal components to meet production and operational needs.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers, ensuring quality, price, and delivery expectations are met.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to optimize cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and material costs to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to align procurement efforts with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding procurement and supplier management.
- Address and resolve issues related to supplier performance, quality, and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier performance, and cost analyses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on metal components in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of metal markets, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
