Senior Campus Officer-Security# Description: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Campus Safety Department in the absence of the Campus Safety Manager Utilizes the process of planning, scheduling, assessing, executing, and evaluating, providing security and safety services Assumes responsibility for professionalism and provides supervision and oversight in order to maintain a safe and secure workplace for the organization Any other duties assigned # Experience/Qualifications: Associated degree or equivalent in criminal justice or related field Prior work in healthcare field preferred Successful completion of the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Basic Security Officer Course within six months of employment required A minimum of 3 years of experience in military, security, or law enforcement with 2 years of experience in technical services, support, or management of facility automation relating to access control systems, Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), and/or other security-related automated systems Must possess good interpersonal and leadership skills Must have ability to lead the departmental day to day operations in the absence of the manager and work with other departments both internal and external to the hospital including various law enforcement authorities having jurisdiction Must successfully complete an initial physical fitness test and maintain physical fitness standards # Perks/Benefits: (for eligible employees): Have optimal opportunity for career growth within our growing organization Medical / Dental Retirement Plan PTO and paid life insurance## # What Sets Us Apart Archbold Medical Center is a four-hospital, four-nursing-home health system with 540 patient beds.
