Job Summary

The Senior Catering Manager oversees all aspects of catering operations, including the coordination and execution of events, supervising sales communications, and managing the scheduling, training, and deployment of staff. Responsibilities also include event planning, setup, execution, breakdown, and the accurate processing of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the catering department.
• Supervise and develop staff, including training and performance evaluation.
• Oversee culinary programs, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Ensure exemplary customer service across all events.
• Conduct financial management and analysis to drive profitability.
• Plan and execute special events, coordinating with relevant departments.
• Lead marketing and sales efforts to achieve business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality and sustainable food practices.
• Proficiency in using web-based ordering systems, updating menus, and managing client profiles.
• Skilled in word processing, spreadsheets, and professional email communication.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions effectively.
• Experience supervising 5-10 hourly staff members, including culinary and delivery personnel.
• Adherence to company uniform standards and use of Personal Protective Equipment as required.
