Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to assist with our projects in Detroit, MI! Key Responsibilities
- Design and preparation of a variety of municipal water/wastewater and roadway design projects.
- Assist with coordination with fellow MSG staff across a variety of services sectors including: Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, Site Construction, etc.
- Leading the preparation of transportation design plans/3D modeling for local agency transportation and/or municipal utility projects.
- Perform and check various design calculations and performing various tasks as they relate to preparing a design package.
- Providing technical expertise/guidance to junior staff
- Preparing special provisions, plan development, storm water modeling and design, cost estimates and detailed design plans.
