The **Senior Climate Resiliency Manager** will contribute to helping our clients navigate and secure grant funds made available under the _Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act_ (IIJA), the _Inflation Reduction Act_ (IRA), and other federal legislation and programs, especially those related to clean energy.
This is a **full-time position** that will be **remotely based with client travel involved as needed.**
**Responsibilities for the Senior Climate Resiliency Manager Include:**
+ Lead the implementation and ongoing management of a grant writing and technical assistance program focused on resilience, climate, and energy.
+ Manage a team of grant writers and managers that will support local governments, tribes, non-profits, and small businesses with program design, grant writing, and grant management support.
+ Collaborate with clients to design and deliver solutions to achieve strategic priorities for resilience and climate initiatives.
+ Conduct resilience and climate-related risk and opportunity assessments.
+ Research and benchmark industry-wide resilience and climate programs and initiatives.
+ Partner with clients to assess and develop resilience and climate strategies.
+ Analyze and interpret resilience and climate data and information.
+ Author professional technical memos, reports, and proposals summarizing complex concepts and project outcomes associated with resilience and climate.
+ Support clients in their efforts to identify, secure, and manage federal funding, with an emphasis on resilience, climate, energy, and infrastructure.
+ Advise clients on the federal funding landscape and how federal funding can support investments in resilience, climate, energy, infrastructure, and related sectors.
+ Develop and write grant application draft(s); compile, write, and edit grant applications exhibiting strong expository writing skills and a high-level command of grammar and spelling.
+ Assess and analyze federal programs under the IIJA, IRA, and other federal legislation and grant programs.
**Qualifications for the Senior Climate Resiliency Manager** **Include:**
+ Bachelor-s degree in public administration, public policy, environmental science, emergency management, engineering, energy, sustainability, or a related field.
+ Minimum of ten (10) years of professional consulting, government, and/or non-profit experience focused on resilience, sustainability, climate, and/or environmental management; at least five (5) years in a supervisory,or management role.
+ At least three (3) years of experience with grant strategy, grant planning, and/or grant writing.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and present analyses using technology such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power BI.
+ Demonstrated ability to display solid time management skills and multi-task; prioritize to meet deliverables and associated timelines; and pivot to changing priorities as situations warrant.
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate remotely across geographies and platforms.
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret federal program policies, rules, and regulations.
**Additional Qualifications for the Senior Climate Resiliency Manager** **Include:**
+ Master-s degree in public administration, public policy, environmental science, emergency management, engineering, energy, sustainability, or a related field.
+ Demonstrated ability to exhibit emotional intelligence in all internal and external interactions.
+ Strong solution-oriented mindset; ability to strive to solve problems creatively and achieve optimal outcomes.
+ Demonstrated ability to serve as a team player who can establish and maintain effective working relationships and collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders; has a can-do attitude and is willing to pitch in where needed to assist team members, hiring managers, and division leaders in pushing critical initiatives over the finish line.
+ Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS).
**Compensation for theSenior Climate Resiliency Manager** **Includes:**
+ Salary range of $85,000 - $150,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
