The hiring range for this opportunity is $102,500 to $150,000 annually along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. We are open to a hybrid or remote role. POSITION SUMMARY Serves as subject matter expert in cloud engineering responsible for designing, building and maintaining cloud-based systems. Working with a variety of different technologies to build robust cloud computing environments that meet the needs of their organization. Responsible for technical expertise, ensuring performance and availability meet service level agreements (SLA) and objectives. Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud systems, documenting fixes, mentoring junior team members, and working closely with other teams to offer guidance in infrastructure movement and best practice. Analyze workloads, identify optimization opportunities, standardize and enhance operational processes and procedures, and automate. Responsible for providing the best possible experience for users of cloud computing platforms. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Creates a strategy for establishing a secure and well-managed enterprise environment in M365, Azure & AWS. • Collaborates with the Bank's IT Team on the design, implementation, and support of the Bank's enterprise computer systems. Ensures and maintains the security, stability, integrity and efficiency of its infrastructure, topology and resources. • Provides direct technical support, diagnostics, problem resolutions, integration, and systems maintenance of the Bank's M365 and Azure environment; performs root cause analysis to quickly recover from service interruptions, connectivity and to prevent recurring problems. • Automates the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations. • Designs and implements data protection options, including HA and BCP protection in Azure. • Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems. • Adheres to sound practices and maintains Information Security standards for securing Bank hardware and software systems and maintains access security and computer policy enforcement of end user access to Bank's computer data. • Adheres to Bank established patch management procedures to securely maintain systems. • Provides backup and high-level support to users and other technical staff. • Maintains documentation related to all job function(s) for training or problem resolution purposes. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES • Adheres to Bank policy and procedures and complies with confidentiality regulations including Gramm-Leach Bliley Act principles by successfully completing related trainings and maintaining these learned practices on the job. • Support the Bank's efforts and follow best practices to prevent network and system security vulnerabilities, such as spyware and computer viruses. • Maintains documentation for incoming work orders as assigned. • Participates as a member of the Emergency Response Team. • Provides after-hour on-call support for computer systems issues. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED • High school diploma or GED required. • Bachelor's degree preferred, with BS in Computer Science/Engineering strongly preferred. • Possess extensive knowledge of PC and Server hardware and software applications and Network operating systems. • 7 years of experience and certification demonstrating competency in M365, Azure and AWS cloud computing and associated product licensing. • Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks. • Proficient in Microsoft PowerShell, Proofpoint email security or other cloud-based email security platforms. • Knowledge of Systems Administration of physical and virtual server environments and working knowledge of business backup and disaster recovery solutions. • Expertise in Microsoft server and desktop operating systems including Windows Server 2019 or greater, Windows 10 and 11 • Strong understanding of Entra ID, AD, DNS, Windows Servers, Firewalls, Switching, VPN.Network switch, router, and firewall management experience. Experience managing firewalls with SSL decryption and deep packet inspection. Experience with SSL VPN connectivity over Direct Internet Access. Experience in overseeing the design, development and implementation of software systems, applications and related products. • Extensive experience with core software applications, including Microsoft operating systems, back office applications and productivity software. Extensive hardware and software troubleshooting experience. • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, analyzing and solving problems quickly and completely. • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace. Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to project a professional, friendly image over the phone and in person. • Proven ability to collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
