Position OverviewThe Senior CNC Programmer is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs for multi-axis machines and machining centers in a manufacturing environment. This role aims to improve production efficiency, ensure high-quality standards, and support the continuous improvement of machining processes.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis machines and machining centers.
- Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to create precise machining instructions.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues as they arise.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and updates on CNC programs to ensure optimal performance.
- Train and mentor junior programmers and operators on CNC programming best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in CNC programming, specifically with multi-axis machines.
- Strong knowledge of machining centers and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
