This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in our organization's financial operations, with a focus on managing our accounts receivable and ensuring the timely collection of payments. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record in collections. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position. Responsibilities:As a Senior Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for:1. Handling and managing all aspects of our collections process including contacting customers regarding overdue accounts and negotiating suitable payment plans.2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer data in the collections system.3. Reconciling account discrepancies by investigating documentation, identifying issues, and resolving these issues in a timely manner.4. Recording entries of financial transactions and maintaining accurate records of all collection activities.5. Collaborating with the sales and customer service departments to resolve billing disputes.6. Preparing reports on account status and collection activity for management.7. Ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance with legal regulations.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Permanent Collections Specialist position should possess the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a collections role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.2. Proven experience in managing and resolving collections issues.3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures related to collections.4. Proficiency in using accounting software and databases.5. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.6.
