LHH is seeking a Compensation Analyst to assist a retail company in Buckhead, Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing compensation structures and practices to ensure alignment with market trends and organizational objectives. You will play a key role in developing competitive compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent while promoting fairness and equity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compensation Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to benchmark compensation levels and make recommendations for adjustments. Analyze compensation data and trends to support salary planning and compensation strategies.
- Job Evaluation: Assess job roles and responsibilities to determine appropriate compensation levels. Develop and maintain job descriptions and salary structures that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Salary Administration: Administer salary reviews, merit increases, and bonus programs. Ensure adherence to compensation policies and guidelines, and provide recommendations for adjustments based on performance and market data.
- Reporting and Data Management: Prepare and present detailed reports on compensation metrics, trends, and program effectiveness. Maintain accurate and up-to-date compensation data and documentation.
- Compliance: Ensure compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Stay informed about changes in compensation-related legislation and adjust practices accordingly.
- Collaboration: Partner with HR and business leaders to understand compensation needs and provide guidance on compensation-related matters. Support the development and implementation of compensation-related policies and procedures.
- Employee Support: Address employee inquiries and concerns related to compensation. Provide clear and accurate information regarding compensation policies, programs, and processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional - CCP) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR role. Experience with compensation software and data analytics is preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge: Understanding of compensation practices, job evaluation methodologies, and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with industry compensation trends and best practices.
