Job Description:
The Senior Compliance Analyst will provide support to the VP, Compliance Officer in all areas of regulatory Compliance Management and assist in strengthening the HarborOne Compliance Program.
The Senior Compliance Analyst position includes but is not limited to: regulatory research and interpretation of regulatory risk on issues presented by the business units, review of advertising material, HMDA data analysis and submission, acting as Compliance Liaison with business units across the institution and providing support to the VP Compliance Officer on various compliance related projects.

Responsibilities:
- Assists the VP, Compliance Officer with the following:
- Managing audits, including issue entry and resolution
- Review and evaluation of policies and procedures as they relate to compliance, making recommendations and/or implements changes as needed to follow regulations.
- Ensuring the Bank's compliance in the following areas: all consumer and commercial regulatory compliance; maintain a library of compliance resources, review laws and regulations that impact the bank's compliance requirements.
- Working with the Training Department to ensure all appropriate regulatory training takes place.
- Ensuring that regulatory changes are implemented in a timely manner.
- Providing interpretations of new and existing regulations.
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of federal and state consumer protection laws as well as regulatory issues.
- Reviewing marketing and advertising materials for compliance with banking laws.
- Representing the Bank through participation in community and industry activities.
- Assisting with the internal monitoring and testing programs.
- Reviewing issues and test controls for adequacy where issues have been closed.
- Researching regulations, requirements, regulatory rules, guidance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) and a minimum of five years direct Compliance Management experience at a retail bank.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of federal and state consumer compliance regulatory requirements such as Reg. B, Reg. CC, Reg. C, Reg. D, Reg. DD, Reg. E, Reg. GG, Reg. P, Reg. Z, RESPA, TRID, HMDA, FCRA, FACTA, SCRA, SAFE Act, Flood, Homeownership Counseling, and, the basics of Fair Lending is necessary.
- Operational, technology, and/ or retail branch experience is also helpful.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government regulations, trade journals, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to respond to examinations questionnaires from regulatory agencies.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
