Full Job DescriptionGreenfield Commercial Real Estate (CRE) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager (SPM) to take the lead in managing large-scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. As an SPM, you will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and junior team members, providing strategic leadership while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.Who we are: Greenfield Commercial Real Estate is a forward-thinking company specializing in development, construction management, property management, and acquisitions across the United States.   • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Oversee and mentor junior Project Managers, Superintendents, and other project staff.
  • Lead project planning sessions, reviewing project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure alignment with goals.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting to keep projects on target.
  • Supervise all on-site and off-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations.
  • Manage submittals and change orders by reviewing, approving, and documenting all project modifications in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Superintendents to ensure job sites are properly set up and aligned with project requirements.
  • Track materials and maintain inventory logs to ensure timely procurement and usage for smooth project progression.
  • Manage requisitions, submit required documents, and approve subcontractor payments while tracking project progress and milestones.
  • Lead project closeouts, ensuring all deliverables are met and final documentation is provided to clients.
  • Proactively resolve project challenges, including scheduling, scope changes, and unforeseen obstacles, ensuring successful completion.
  • Prepare and present regular internal and external project status updates to clients and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of construction management experience, with a focus on large and complex projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and project management software.
  • Proven leadership experience, with strong mentoring and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
  • Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulations.
