As a Senior Business Analyst, the successful candidate will work directly with our Tier 1 clients to ensure they receive the quality consulting services that Delta Capita offers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, exceptional problem-solving skills, business analysis and project management experience. Additionally, they will have knowledge of programming fundamentals, controls, and data testing across financial products. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
- Create and maintain key Business Analysis artefacts, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, process maps, and gap analyses.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, drive consensus, and prioritise backlogs in Agile environments.
- Analyse and document current and future business processes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Support the prioritisation of requirements based on business impact and feasibility.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and project teams, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in developing business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, to support project initiation.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, ensuring deliverables align with business objectives.
- Participate in testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Approximately 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on business operations.
- Proven experience in working directly with business stakeholders, building strong relationships, and understanding their needs.
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery principles, including experience with user story writing, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience conducting gap analyses and process mapping.
- Knowledge of Business Analysis best practices and methodologies.
- Experience creating BRDs, user stories, and other BA deliverables.
- Familiarity with project management principles and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client's offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client's policies and expectations are, and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients' demands.
