Position SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Human Capital Senior Consultant who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to join our Dublin or Atlanta, GA office. As a member of the Consulting team, the Human Capital Senior Consultant will support projects design and delivery, and manage workstreams that help organizations drive improvements across business performance, operations, and engagement. Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to project/program management, HR service delivery, business process re-engineering, workforce strategy and talent management, change management, organizational design, and training. The Human Capital Senior Consultant will actively participate as a member of a project team to identify, recommend, develop, and implement programs, processes, and frameworks that deliver required results in support of the overall objectives of our clients. This position requires interaction with clients at all levels, various vendors, and 3rd party consultants.Responsibilities
- Lead a project workstream, manage team members, plan and prioritize work assignments and propose next steps
- Lead and facilitate client meetings, internal meetings and working sessions
- Execute against and assist in formulating technical approaches, frameworks and methodologies based on guidance received from leadership.
- Manage day to day correspondence with client and drive client satisfaction through the delivery of quality service/work products and results
- Perform and synthesize market research including, but not limited to, industry standards, benchmarks, technologies, best practices; understand how information can shape strategic conversations, methodologies, and approaches.
- Drive and support business development efforts, including proposals and whitepapers.
- Lead internal initiatives and non-billable projects while meeting utilization target
- Understand project scope and client environment; assess downstream impact of change and apply to future projects
- Own the development and quality review of project deliverables (e.g. briefings, presentations, reports/dashboards, trainings, communications, standard operations procedures)
- Execute and oversee project management activities and begin to understand project spend and financial management
- Identify potential risks and issues and proactively escalate to leadership
- Deliver feedback and contribute to the development and growth of junior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a focus within business, human resources, organizational psychology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business consulting or professional services
- 3+ years of human resources, learning and development, talent strategy, or federal government experience
- Experience in & a profound understanding of the federal landscape, including supporting programs, processes, policy, and technology
- Experience establishing, maintaining, and working with mid to senior level leadership
- Exceptional analytical skills, critical thinking, and creativity to develop solutions and support client engagements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with preferred experience in facilitation of trainings, workshops, meetings with clients in the room
- Decisive and effective judgement
- Ability to collaborate well in teams while also independently motivated
- Comfort with ambiguity by demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- Exceptional project management skills exemplified through efficient time management, ability to delegate and manage timelines, work prioritization, and clear communication with leadership, clients, and team members
- Experience working in Microsoft Office suite; advanced PowerPoint skills
