WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Consultant, Quality and Audit to support our Earth and Environment (E&E) business line. The candidate may work out of any WSP US office.

Your Impact

Metrics and KPIs

* Implement US Quality Plan to monitor, track, and report on quality metrics/KPIs

* Work collaboratively with US leadership to drive improvement in support of the US Quality Plan

Key Roles and Responsibilities

* Development and implementation of the Quality Assurance Program in the Earth and Environment Business Line

* Conduct Drop-in Assessments; support audit program

* Support Business Line with project quality and proposals

* Coach project teams on developing and implementing project quality plans, as well as corrective action plans

* Partner with business line operations to monitor and report on compliance and progress through regular audits of above quality metrics

* Participate in select Monthly Project Reviews (MPRs) and engage in recovery efforts where needed

* Establish workflows for quality engagement in pursuits and project delivery

* Collaborate with the technical leaders on standards and best practices for implementation specific to design services

* Identify training needs in collaboration with operations leaders and deliver as required

* Supervise, mentor, guide and oversee DQM performance (as needed)

* Report quality concerns or deficiencies/improvements in QA/QC system to the Quality Director

* Promote, guide and document award program nominations

* Approve exceptions and modifications to mandatory business line QC requirements

* Coordinate with project managers (PMs) and project delivery managers (PDMs) to ensure client surveys are conducted in a timely manner

* Perform and document, as needed, root cause analysis, lessons learned / best practice reviews to support continuous improvement initiatives

* Provide early notification to senior management and Quality Director on projects with Quality concerns or issues

* Facilitate Quality training for all new employees and refresher training at required intervals

* Meet and report regularly with the Quality Director to review metrics, schedules, action items and follow ups

* Support National and Global Quality related continual improvement initiatives

* Global audit support

* Participates in project management and planning meetings

* Participates with peers in sharing knowledge

* Demonstrates commitment to keeping up-to date in technical knowledge of current and emerging practices

* Ability to develop and manage high quality technical and professional deliverables on projects

Required Qualifications

* 5-7 years of experience in the field of Quality in multi-disciplinary activities including Construction, Engineering and Project Management.

* 5+ years in a management role working closely with leadership teams.

* Working knowledge of Federal projects and programs.

* Working knowledge of HSEQ integrated systems.

* Bachelors degree or equivalent

* Adept at using Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

* BSc / MSc or equivalent HSEQ related qualification, preferred.

* Internal / external auditing qualification, ISO 45001, 14001 or 9001, preferred.

* Experienced with ISO certification requirements and coordination thereof, preferred.

* Member of a professional body i.e. ASQ, IOSH etc. preferred.

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $72,800 - $127,380

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $72,800 - $119,570

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
