Senior Contract Administration Specialist – Hybrid R0045467Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Contract Administration Specialist to join our Americas Sales Team supporting the Audit & Assurance solutions in the Americas and EMEA to perform contract reviews and help write/respond to RFP's.If you have a passion for both sales and working with software solutions; if you are passionate about winning new customers and continually working to find new ways to do things; if you think out of the box and enjoy achieving a goal in a sustainable and consistent manner……then join our Americas sales team!About the Role: Advance your contract administration career by taking on more complex responsibilities and contributing to strategic objectives. You will manage significant contract activities, from drafting and negotiation to compliance and performance evaluation. Your expertise will drive efficiency and compliance in our operationsHybrid: Eight days a month we come together in our office to experience the value of connecting with colleagues. This will be an office-based role that will work on a Hybrid schedule (approximately 2 days a week in the nearest Wolters Kluwer Office). You will report to the Director, Sales, CP & ESG TeamMate and work under the leadership of the SVP, General Management Global Audit Solutions (IA) (+). This role is a part of Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, Inc. | BU - CPESG TeamMateRequired Job Qualifications (minimum):Limited Travel to Sales meetings will be required (10% or less).Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience2+ years of Legal/Contract background and experience with enterprise software.2+ years negotiating SaaS legal contracts.Strong legal background in contract negotiations and understanding of contract terms and regulations with the ability to identify and address contract risksPractical experience and solid understanding of SaaS enterprise software solutions, and security considerations.Responsible for or assisted in responding to technical RFPs, coupled with strong writing, organizational, and communication skills.Must possess excellent time and project management skills to ensure that contracts and proposals are submitted accurately and on time.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite for Word, Excel and PowerPoint is requiredPreferred Job Qualifications:Experience responding to technical RFPs preferred.Experience with proposals for contract management or service desk software is a major plus.Excellent writing, organizational, communication and planning skills.Strong attention to detail.Great follow-through and able to work collaboratively across multiple departments in a highly matrixed global organization.Knowledge of CLM and Proposal SW tools (i.e. Qvidian) is a plus.Ability to manage deadlines efficiently.Strong critical thinking skillsGo-getter mentalityAbility to work independently yet collaboratively with other departments (i.e. Sales, Legal, Technical Services, Product Management, Marketing, etc.)Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of contract negotiation from initial customer redlines/edits to closure. Determine if edits provided by customer/prospect are in line with organizational policies by taking a “first pass” or suggesting alternative language in the contract prior to forwarding to legal counsel.Lead the preparation of comprehensive requests for proposals (RFPs) and evaluate proposals and bids to ensure they meet specifications..Conduct in-depth analysis of contracts or RFP to identify and clarify business, legal, and technical requirements/issues/objectives/risks and properly coordinate with sales lead to turn around timely.Support complex contract negotiations and amendments independently, including attending customer/prospect meetings to discuss, ask/answer questions, negotiate, etc. certain business, legal, and technical items.Communicate and coordinate internal meetings with stakeholders to obtain information (business and technical decisions), finalize contract review, and respond successfully to an RFP with quality answers and information, including readability, consistency, and tone.Maintain records of all contracts/proposals received, reviewed, and submitted.Develop and present reports on contract status to business stakeholders to coordinate prioritization of contracts and RFP's and target dates to ensure timely responses.Additional Information:Wolters Kluwer offers great benefits and programs to help meet your needs and balance your work and personal life, including: Medical, Dental, & Vision Plans, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Commuter Benefits, Tuition Assistance Plan, Vacation and Sick Time, and Paid Parental Leave.
