The Senior Contracts Manager, Field Operations is directly responsible for coordination and management of customer contracts, privacy agreements, general forms from schools and districts, and associated recordkeeping. This position works closely with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure timely and efficient processing of requests and execution of deliverables. The Contracts Manager, Field Operations has direct ownership of the contract team and process to include tracking all relevant records and documents.
  • Position Type: This is a regular full-time position.
  • Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $63,410 and $75,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
  • Location: In this US-based position your location will be in our office in Tempe, Arizona.
Envision Your Experience. In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Manages end to end documents related to sales contracts, requests for proposals, privacy agreements, and procurement forms.
  • Reviews contract terms and conditions to verify that they are in compliance with company policies.
  • Proofreads, edits, and fact-checks documents for accuracy and consistency.
  • On behalf of the department leadership, coordinates contract negotiations with Legal and other stakeholders to ensure business terms are properly stated.
  • Manages the relationship with insurance contacts and ensure certificates of insurance are completed according to district requirements.
  • Oversees the contract process between Sales, Legal, Security, Data Privacy; collaborate closely on requirements or policies that necessitate process modifications.
  • Maintains and tracks all relevant information in the appropriate systems.
  • Coordinates signature requests with authorized signatory personnel both in the office and via DocuSign.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for department team members, stakeholders throughout the company, and contract requestors.
  • Manage the contract/shipping team to ensure all print contracts, bids, and other documents meet customer requirements.
  • Other duties as required.
Share Your Expertise. Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, and 8+ years of related experience in a corporate legal department; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Paralegal certification required.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of contracts, best practices and implications, objectives, and ramifications of contractual provisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience prioritizing and managing multiple assignments concurrently, performing well under pressure, and meeting deadlines, while ensuring acute attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet deadlines
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills; self-directed to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes and deadlines.
