Pay Range: $58,500.00 - $80,319.00Working in conjunction with conversion projectmanagers and conversion team members, lead all aspects in the setup of newplans within stated deadlines and meeting standards for both volume and quality. Be the subject matter expert for atleast one significant aspect of plan conversions.
Education and Experience: - Associate's degree and a minimum of four (4) years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ASPPA QKA designation, or equivalent
Skills and Abilities: - Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and technical procedures.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with groups of employees throughout the firm.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Must have knowledge of intermediate Microsoft Office applications and the ability to develop advanced SRT system skills provided by internal training, within a reasonable time as determined by the Manager. Must also have a general understanding of mutual fund companies, trading, and trust operations.
Tasks Performed: - 45% Act as technical leader working with conversion project managers on highly complex and/or block conversions. Assist other conversion specialists with troubleshooting to complete conversions. Perform as lead conversion specialist on the team to help with surges and staff.
- 40% Perform quality review of key data points, including participant balances, vesting, investment elections, plan provisions, and web products to ensure accuracy of information before plan live date and communicate any missing information critical to completion of the conversion to the conversion project manager. With minimal oversight, invest conversion proceeds accurately for assigned plans and assist with reviewing other conversion specialists assigned accounts.
- 10% Train and mentor conversions staff, especially on aspects of plan conversions for which you act as the subject matter expert. Continually analyze the procedures involved in this aspect to identify process improvements. Stay informed of tool and program enhancements relating to this aspect of conversions.
- 5% Perform other duties as assigned.
