- Oversee all financial operations of the plant, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the plant's budget and financial forecasts, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Lead risk management efforts, including identifying potential financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with plant management to develop strategic plans and initiatives, providing financial expertise and guidance.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide leadership and direction to the plant's finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial expertise and managing project budgets as required.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in risk management and compliance.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional business analysis skills with the ability to provide insightful and actionable financial information.
- Proven experience in performance management, with the ability to drive business performance.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Experience with financial management software is a plus.
