Senior Counsel - Global AdTech

A leading, global AdTech company is expanding its legal department and looking to bring on a Senior Commercial Counsel to join the team. This individual will be a key member of the department and focus on building a legal structure for the company's new business line. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in commercial transactions, deep understanding of IP issues and data licensing concepts, and the ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and other business units. This role will sit out of the company's office in New York City and operate on hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Handle commercial negotiations and contract drafting, including SaaS agreements
• Provide legal advice to key stakeholders on commercial and legal matters within the business
• Collaborate with product, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to support business initiatives and provide legal insight
• Develop a legal structure for the new business line and ensure continuous improvement

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience focused on commercial contract drafting and negotiating
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
• In-house experience within Technology is a plus, but not required
• JD from a reputable law school
