**Senior Counsel, Structured Finance & Warehouse Lending**
We are looking for a talented, passionate, and dedicated structured products and warehouse lending attorney to join our legal team as a Senior Counsel. In this position, you will primarily provide legal advice and strategic expertise to Signature Bank's Corporate Mortgage Finance lending businesses. You will act as a direct advisor to the business units and will report to the Assistant General Counsel, Lending.
**Primary responsibilities include:**
* Provide transactional support for structured finance and warehouse lending, including the review, negotiation and drafting of various loan and collateral documentation, pricing letters, and term sheets
* Prepare and maintain standard loan documentation (e.g., master repurchase agreements, revolving credit and security agreements, etc.) and relevant procedures
* Manage external counsel partners to ensure covered businesses are receiving high-quality and timely legal advice and transactional support
* Provide legal support and address all legal issues in connection with loan portfolios for covered businesses
**Qualifications:**
* Minimum 4 years of relevant lending transactional experience practicing at a law firm and/or in-house legal department at a commercial bank or other financial services company with structured products and warehouse financings required
* Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited institution required
* Licensed to practice law in the State of New York
* Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills under pressure
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
