Job Description:
Overview Lutron has an immediate opening for a Senior Creative Services Manager to join our Communications team out of our Coopersburg, PA office. As the function responsible for creative development and execution, the Communications team partners with the marketing teams to develop compelling and on-brand marketing materials. As Senior Creative Services Manager, you will foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment and lead the execution of on-budget, high-quality materials. As the Senior Creative Services, you are responsible for managing the Coopersburg communications team, planning, executing, and delivering creative projects within your assigned creative area (e.g., copywriting, web design, etc.). You will work closely with and take creative direction from Lutron's corporate, creative leaders, who will provide overall project creative direction, program managers, and marketing to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities The Senior Creative Services Manager leads the Coopersburg communications team, coordinating communication and collaboration between the corporate, creative leaders, marketing, other stakeholders, and other Lutron design teams around the USA. They are responsible for developing and managing project plans based on the creative direction from Lutron's creative leaders, timelines, and budgets and proactively identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact project success. They are champions of team culture, proactively providing team support and motivating effort.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables based on creative direction provided by Lutron's senior creative leaders.
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration between creative teams, marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status updates, and reviews, ensuring all stakeholders and team are aligned on project goals, expectations, and progress.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address any risks, issues, or roadblocks that may impact project success.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed department and marketing expectations and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide effective support to teams as needed and be an escalation point for issues and resolution to senior leadership.
  • Manage documentation, including briefs, statements of work, and project reports.
  • Identify process and collaboration gaps and drive continuous improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement and seek opportunities to improve project management processes, effectiveness, and team collaboration.
  • Manage and develop the Coopersburg creative team's unity and esprit de corps, building a robust and engaged team.
  • Actively contribute to a positive, innovative, and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Seven or more years of experience as a project manager/project driver developing marketing and communications materials in an agency, manufacturer, or reseller of building products
  • Three to five years of creative team general leadership
  • Experience in a wide range of media for marketing programs - web, digital, brochures, trade shows, sales programs, advertising, and social media
  • Highly organized; must be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task effectively
  • Strong project management skills; must have experience meeting aggressive timelines and managing budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to communicate ideas to all levels of management
  • Strong team leadership skills. Must be able to manage, engage, and motivate a team
  • Solid understanding of design and production processes
  • Experience with agency or vendor management
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Able to work full-time in Coopersburg or Conshohocken, PA
  • Bilingual, Spanish/English, is a plus
