Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a Senior Customer Relations Manager based in Dalton, MA. This role is a Flexible Hybrid role. This means this role is mostly remote with required travel to our HQ in Dalton, MA on a monthly basis. We also offer a comprehensive relocation package if you choose to live closer to the facility.

How you will make an impact:

Crane Currency has the objective of providing the highest performance substrate and security features to the US Currency and Passport programs. A key function of meeting this objective is ensuring efficient delivery of products and services. The Customer Relations Manager will work directly with customer teams, internal leadership, and internal technical staff to facilitate the delivery of products and services to help achieve Crane Currency goals while maximizing customer satisfaction.

The Customer Relations Manager has the following responsibilities:

* Primary point of contact between Crane Currency and customer teams in coordinating complex customer facing deliverables.

* Facilitates communication and action plan execution between customer teams, internal leadership, and internal technical staff at multiple sites to execute complex customer initiatives.

* Builds and sustains customer facing relationships through the execution of communication and stakeholder management processes. Utilizes interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships across multiple levels of the customers' organization to demonstrate understanding and deploy activities that ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

* Leverages standard processes for ensuring efficient response to customer needs, thorough communication with internal leadership, and continuous improvement of deliverables.

* Collaborates closely with customer and internal Finance staff to plan and manage product delivery forecasts using strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.

* Manages action plans, budgeting, and internal reporting for customer facing new product development across multiple Crane sites.

* Routinely supports product testing and technical meetings on-site at the customer facilities in Washington DC and Fort Worth TX.

* Plans and facilitates customer visits to multiple Crane sites to ensure close collaboration between customer and Crane technical teams.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, or similar discipline.

* 7 years of progressive experience in internal / external customer facing environments building / sustaining complex commercial relationships.

* 5 years of experience supporting execution of internal and external customer facing deliverables with routine direct engagement using critical thinking to successfully manage stakeholders.

* 3 years of demonstrated successful history of project management and facilitating technical teams through complex customer facing initiatives.

* 3 years of demonstrated successful history of directly engaging internal leadership teams to review data, align on customer facing strategies, and make critical business decisions.

* Individual must be dynamic and self-driven with a proven capability to manage stakeholders across multiple internal / external sites.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas and information clearly and persuasively.

* Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.

Preferred:

* US Government contracting experience

* PMP

* MBA

* Master's degree in business or engineering
