Definition of Class
* This is a professional position requiring knowledge of Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System (PACSES) within the Domestic Relations Section. An employee in this class analyzes data and works in the state child support computer system, PACSES, and will follow the department policies and procedures and specific office practices. The Senior Customer Service Officer will also assist the Supervisor with training, development, and annual evaluation of current and new employees, and will perform the duties of the Supervisor when absent.
Duties & Responsibilities
* The Senior Customer Service Officer must have a working knowledge of the duties and responsibilities in the Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System (PACSES).
* Duties include overseeing the daily work of the clerical staff. Supervises the collection of uninsured medical expenses, resolving credit bureau disputes, monitoring and enforcement of veterans support orders, working DIT lists, completing and processing administrative orders, and addressing computer issues that may arise.
* The Senior Customer Service Officer will assist the Supervisor with personnel issues within the Customer Service Unit in conjunction with the Director and Deputy Director of Domestic Relations. This includes disciplinary issues, conflict resolution, yearly performance evaluations, interviewing applicants for vacancies and training employees in the Customer Service Unit.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* A thorough knowledge of PA Rules of Civil Procedure and Domestic Relations policies and procedures.
* Ability to analyze and interpret actions needed for completion of case records.
* Good communication skills and a working knowledge of the e-PACSES software programs.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences
* Minimum of 2 years of Experience in Domestic Relations
