New York Based Principal Post-Sales Engineer (210k-250k salary with Equity Compensation)
Company Overview:
My client is a Series B funded pre-IPO Cybersecurity vendor.
They have just secured their Series B and are now looking to double in growth this year. Having spent a few years focussed on R&D and building their product from scratch, they are now focussing on their GTM strategy and building their GTM team.
They have already brought on some big logos such as the New York Times, Bloomberg and several government agencies.
This company has an impressive developer team who have built an utterly unique product - there isn't anything like this on the market and that is why they have been so successful already without a sales team behind them. So this is a strong opportunity to come in and build the next big disruptor in the Cyber space.
This is a hybrid based office role - they are looking for someone that can come into their New York office three days a week. They are in a very high growth mode and as such, they find it is easier to get things done quickly when people are in the same room. Everyone in the company does it and they have a lovely office with a fun, intellectual culture.
Role Overview:
- Own your client engagements end-to-end from C-suite strategic relationships to tactical execution across technical and non-technical teams.
- Meet with your clients to understand their critical priorities and greatest pain points.
- Develop a clear understanding of requirements and build the deployment and integration plan.
- Identify and coordinate with relevant stakeholders and integration teams to assure the successful integration of the product
- Work with clients to build bespoke integrations, product features and capabilities.
- Lead training sessions to ensure that the product is meeting user needs, and to ensure it is being used widely enough to have maximum impact.
- Present the results of our work and recommendations on data privacy and governance matters on an ongoing basis.
- Build and deliver product demonstrations to new and existing clients.
- Act as a product strategist sitting between clients and internal product and engineering teams to make insight-driven platform improvements.
Requirements:
- Experience in a related field, for example, consulting or product management. Top 4 consultancy backgrounds are a big plus
- Strong experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, to implement projects in a timely fashion.
- Ability to communicate verbally and through written means, when dealing with complex problem solving and critical thinking with stakeholders.
- Ability to plan and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
- Willingness to continue building skills through educational opportunities and ongoing training programmes.
