- Collaborate with an agile DevOps development teamresponsible for Data Engineering in a Big Data Environment
- Collaborate with Business Users and Business Analysts tounderstand requirements
- Responsible for aligning the business requirement to theGen Re Common Data Model
- Responsible for user story technical and integration testdocumentation
- Responsible for communicating solution design to technical,business and management audiences
- Contribute to user story solution design
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of the CommonData Model
- Contribute to modeling, lineage, data privacy and team wikidocumentation
- Support the Product Owner in framing the agile team'sbacklog
- Support Report Developers using the Common Data Model
- Support User Acceptance Testing
- Support Data Owners and Data Stewards as required
The candidate must be highly collaborative, organized,and analytical, and is expected to partner effectively with other teams withinIT, business, and service units on an ongoing basis. Role Qualifications and Experience
- 7+ years hands on experience as a Systems Analyst
- 7+ years hands on experience as a Data Modeler
- 2+ years working with cloud solutions
- 2+ years working within an agile team
- 2+ years experience working for a global insurance, reinsurance or financial organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver quality design and documentation to agreed timelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and structure
- Ability to prepare presentations and othercommunication material for a varied audiences
- Exposure to the architecture discipline (e.g. TOGAF)
- Exposure to Power BI, SSAS, SSQL, ELT/ETL and Analysistools
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution ofhigher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, a science orengineering discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant educationand/or experience.
Salary Range 91,000.00 - 152,000.00 USD Theannual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around theU.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials,education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance,skills and/or training.
