Come grow with us at Demandbase!About the Role:The Senior Data Analyst will mentor an emerging team of data analysts to own, manage and resolve data analysis and escalation tasks. This person is responsible for understanding requirements, analyzing large datasets, and independently ensuring resolution of tasks - often customer-initiated. You will work with modern software and tools that allow you to interact with and manage an enormous data set, backing best-in-class go-to-market products online. You will build and mentor a team working alongside data engineers to drive customer success. You will use your data analysis and leadership skills in a fast-paced agile environment to push product quality to new levels.What will you do?Conduct extensive data analysis and identify key insights from data using various tools and scripts (Python, SQL, Excel etc.). This would include various phases of manual interventions in addition to utilizing Automated Scripts and Libraries.Visualize and propose innovative as well as simple data models to complex problems independently by applying deep knowledge of various programming languages and statistical tools.Demonstrate passion for high quality data, impact mindset, strongly believe in applying analytical chops to tell a story'' focused on insights and context not just data.Provide excellent data stewardship by understanding the requirements, probe for details, analysis and identifying its trending to deliver projects with high quality results and within agreed timelines.Demonstrate accountability and meet all the acceptance criteria defined for the completion of a given Project.Work with junior analysts, follow up with support, ensure the work is on track. Communication is the key.Complete ownership of tickets from creation to completion.Skills/Experience:Must-have:Expert knowledge of SQL, ideally using BigQuery or similar data platformStrong in Extensive Data Analysis - Manual as well as Automated validation and stratification of data.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detailExcellent written reporting and documentation skillsExcellent proactive communication and interpersonal skillsGood to have:Knowledge of Data Visualization using BI toolsSome skill implementing and executing in a programming language like Python or ScalaExperience working in an agile environment - scrum, sprints etcExperience using Google Docs / Confluence / JIRA preferredBehavioral & Interpersonal skills:The ideal candidate will have a background working directly with clients (mainly North America) and is able to multitaskExceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written)Able to thrive in a fast paced environment - moving quickly, adapting well to change, thinking strategically and tactically executing a planAble to work independently and as an integral part of a teamQuick learner and result orientedBasic Qualifications :Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Systems or any Engineering field5 – 8 years of relevant experience in data manipulation, data querying, and data analysis skillsOur Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at DemandbaseAt Demandbase, we believe in creating a workplace culture that values and celebrates diversity in all its forms.
