Senior Data Analyst (New York, NY): Data Analysis: Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives and decision-making processes. Data Visualization: Create visually appealing and informative dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or custom visualization libraries. Data Mining and Exploration: Use various techniques to extract, manipulate, and explore data from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, flat files, and structured/unstructured data. Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical techniques and models to analyze data, develop predictive models, and conduct hypothesis testing. Data Cleaning and Preparation: Clean, transform, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compatibility with analysis requirements. Handle missing data, outliers, and data quality issues appropriately. Database Management: Develop and optimize database structures, design and execute efficient queries, and manage data integrity and security. Collaborative Projects: Work with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists, to define project objectives, gather requirements, and deliver insights. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate data models, algorithms, and analytical processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement and optimization. Data Governance: Ensure adherence to data governance policies, best practices, and compliance requirements to maintain data quality, security, and privacy. Documentation: Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to create a clear record of analytical workflows and enable reproducibility. Mentoring and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts, share best practices, and contribute to the professional growth of the team. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advanced analytical techniques. Attend conferences, webinars, or training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Requirements include: Master s degree in Data Science or relevant field. 18 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED ROLE. Experience with database management systems (DBMS) SUCH AS MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server required. Ability to clean, transform, and process data using tools such as SQL, and Excel or scripting languages such as Python required. Offered Salary: $108,306.
