Job Overview:
The Sr. Data Analyst will leverage technical expertise and industry knowledge to enhance analytic insights and features in Pareto Intelligence's risk adjustment solutions. Key responsibilities include understanding business requirements, applying critical thinking to deliverables, and collaborating effectively with engineering, QA, data science, and product teams using agile methodologies. The role also involves working with advisory and customer success teams to resolve issues, identify long-term solutions, and discuss new requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and build extract-transform-load (ETL) workflow in SQL, Python and/or Pyspark to build datasets that will be used to develop analytic insights & methodologies to be incorporated into publication-ready visualizations using diverse sets of structured and unstructured data.
- Utilize technical skillset to address market-driven business questions for empowering key stakeholders to improve government programs risk adjustment performance.
- Collaborates with product management, client advisory, data science and operations on product visualizations, enhancements and debugging issues.
- Contributes to requirements gathering and recommendations that align with best practices and future state design.
- Reasons independently to synthesize raw data into digestible and actionable information.
Qualifications:
- BS or BA degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, marketing analytics, MIS, computer science, engineering, healthcare field with proven experience exhibiting data and analytical proficiency.
- 5+ years of Strong SQL querying experience both creating and updating ETL workflows and stored procedures.
- 5+ years of experience with analytics, database, or business intelligence in the healthcare field.
- 3+ years of data visualization experience using Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with Python (i.e. Jupyter), Pyspark and Big Data Technologies such as AWS is nice to have.
