Senior Data Analyst needed to serve on a complex technology implementation. Responsibilities include:
- Lead strategy-driven research planning, management, implementation, and analysis efforts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Manage and improve existing reporting systems and performs complex analyses.
- Conduct, facilitate, and educate team on analyses, issues identification, risk assessment, and decision-making processes
- Develop and implement best practices in data collection methodologies and analyses.
- Define data assets (data models) for collection and population of such data models.
- Lead collaborative and relationship-building efforts across relevant internal and external stakeholders to support successful evaluation and assessment efforts.
- Provide consulting and analytic services to leadership.
- Provide technical support and mentoring and training to less-senior analysts.
Requirements Requirements for the job include:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline and 7 years of of professional experience collecting, developing, and interpreting key data points to support operational decision-making in the public sector OR a Bachelor's degree in the areas above and 10 years of experience
- Working knowledge of federal grant-making policies, procedures, and administration
- Must be detail oriented and think logically
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to keep up with new business and technical concepts
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong team leadership and risk management
