Remote work is allowed. #LI-RemoteRole OverviewThe Chartis Group's Advanced Analytics Team is responsible for providing high quality data and analytic support to client engagements, internal research, and development initiatives within the firm. They apply advanced database management and sophisticated analytical tools and skills to derive compelling quantitative findings from large client, industry, and proprietary datasets. The Senior Data Associate will work directly with our consultants and clients to provide analytic support on a range of healthcare projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and quantitative thinker who is passionate about healthcare to help develop the analytical capabilities of our rapidly growing firm.Responsibilitiesl Participate in the entire project lifecycle - from requirements definition and scoping, through execution. During this time, you will work with both project teams and clients to define and fulfill data and analytic requests.l Perform complex analysis (e.g., merging multiple datasets for new insights into relationships between variables) and provide data and analytic support to Chartis consulting engagement teams. l Thoroughly QA and cleanse raw datasets, ensuring accuracy of your deliverables.l Build new datasets to maximize utility using advanced data management and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Alteryx, R, SQL, Python, Snowflake, etc.). l Execute core analytics for a range of client engagements (e.g., strategy, performance improvement, digital health). l Develop impactful data analytics and visualizations including mapping using business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau).l Document analytic methodologies and approaches.l Codify datasets and outputs into client-ready deliverables and transfer to project teams/clients. l Support the analytic and research needs of Chartis' internal firm teams and practice areas, including contributing to practice development initiatives, whitepaper development, training, and knowledge management initiatives. Qualifications and Desired Skillsl Bachelor's degree in a related field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering.l At least 3-4 years data analytics experience, ideally in a professional services firm or healthcare provider setting.l Strong Tableau skills (Desktop/Creator) required. Experience with Tableau Server and Tableau Prep is greatly preferred.l Experience with data visualization, mapping, and data cleansing. l Ability to create dashboards from a variety of data sources. l Familiarity with SQL and managing large data sets (>1M rows) required; additional experience with Snowflake, SAS, Alteryx and/or similar programs preferred. l Familiarity with healthcare data (e.g., claims data, hospital reporting data, or clinical decision support data) and analytics preferred.l Proficiency with MS Office applications. l Strong work and time management skills; able to work effectively under tight timelines and adapt to shifting priorities, in both individual and team settings.l Open to learning new software programs as needed for new types of projects or client engagements.l Comfortable working with consulting colleagues, including clearly communicating analytic findings in the context of client engagements.Salary range: $79,900-$119,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
