This role will play an integral part in leading data activities and reporting to the CIO at 5P Consulting and the client organization s VP of Technology. The Senior Data Engineer will join a client team of high-performing and collaborative professionals, working closely together on the development and execution of data ingestion, structures, analytics, and reporting.A Senior Data Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing data structures and data analysis systems and processes to support business decision-making. Collaborating with the business and cross-functional teams, the Senior Data Engineer will also be responsible for identifying and configuring new data pipelines to improve data collection and analysis as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements, communicating complex data analysis and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, staying up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and techniques, and continuously improving the data analysis capabilities of the organization, and ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all data sources.The Senior Data Engineer will also be responsible for analyzing data and providing insights to support the near and long-term IT strategy for the business. They work closely with traders, analysts, and executives to identify and execute technology-focused business transformation and process improvement initiatives. They use advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques to solve high-priority business problems and draw data-driven insights.The ideal candidate has both a strong technology background and a solid understanding of Data Analytics, Data Schemas, and Data Structuring.
