About the role: As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be a crucial member of our Engineering team, driving our mission to leverage data as a strategic asset. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and analytics, to build out the data infrastructure that powers our decision-making processes. Your work will directly impact how we develop products, optimize our operations, and deliver value to our customers. We are a fully in-office company with a beautiful new office located at E 33rd Street and Park Ave. Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will completely own our data pipeline, playing a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and ETL pipelines. In addition, in this role, you'll lead the engineering team in making sure all code processes produce meaningful data that is stored in a performant manner. This data process is integral in powering client facing reporting as well as informing internal decisions and strategy. Core Objective:
- The role involves building and maintaining high-quality data solutions and large-scale data pipelines that process vast amounts of data
- Optimize data flow and collection for cross-functional teams
- Design core data objects and models for the entire company
- Implement and maintain data quality checks and monitoring systems
- Develop client-facing reporting solutions
- Additionally, the position supports data-driven decision-making through the creation of metrics datasets and dashboards
- Engineers will collaborate across teams to optimize and improve data quality while delivering user-centric experiences
RequirementsTechnical skills
- 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering
- Programming proficiency in python
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Proven experience in data modeling and database design
- Experience with ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions, particularly Snowflake
- Understanding of development workflows and best practices

Job Compensation Range: The salary range for this role is $240,000 - $300,000. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation inclusive of salary and any bonuses is determined based on a number of factors including experience and skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process.
