Position: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: $80,000 to $100,000/year + Bonus!
Experience: At least three (3) years of related experience.
Education: Bachelor's degree. Master's degree (preferred not required).
Array Corporation is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Develop clean, reusable, and readable code that supports the work of fellow engineers.
- Design and implement modern data architectures from the ground up.
- Scope and design solutions for large-scale data projects, breaking down epics/features into actionable stories and assigning responsibilities to team members.
- Build and schedule complex ETL pipelines using Databricks.
- Write high-quality code and perform peer reviews to ensure standards are met.
- Collaborate with data stakeholders to assess requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all projects within the team's scope.
- Mentor junior data engineers, helping them acquire the knowledge needed to complete foundational tasks.
Position Requirements:
- Expert proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to explain complex coding concepts to technical colleagues.
- Availability to work on-call on a rotating schedule for urgent weekend issues.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
