Marsh is seeking candidates for our Senior Data Scientist, who will lead the development and implementation of models using advanced techniques in machine learning, predictive modeling, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing as applied in commercial insurance and risk management. Engages with ongoing research in the AI/ML field, bringing new approaches to the teamLeads cross-functional projects, driving the strategic vision and execution of initiatives that align with organizational goals and advance the reach of AI and ML within MarshCommunicates insights and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders, influencing the decision-making process and guiding the organization in adopting analytics driven strategiesWhat you need to have:Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science or related fieldExtensive experience in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling, with a proven track record of implementing successful model-driven solutionsProven ability to face multiple difficult and complex problems in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a structured problem-solving approachExcellent communication and collaborating skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and create influence within and outside of the job function concerning analytics use and practicesExpertise with Python (including NumPy, TensorFlow, and PyTorch) and SQLExperience with big data platforms such as Hadoop or Spark and programming languages such as R or VBA may be helpful but not requiredWhat makes you stand out?Commercial Insurance or Risk Management industry experienceMarsh is the world's leading insurance broker and risk adviser. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.The applicable base salary range for this role is $105,900 to $226,000.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
