Luminary Group is currently partnered with a leading life science company who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Real World Evidence (RWE) to join their team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for driving the analysis and interpretation of real-world data to generate valuable insights and support evidence-based decision making in the healthcare industry. Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the development and implementation of data mining and statistical modeling techniques to analyze complex real-world evidence (RWE) datasets.
- Preprocess and clean large-scale real-world data to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Apply advanced statistical and machine learning algorithms to extract meaningful insights and patterns from RWE data.
- Develop predictive models to forecast outcomes and trends based on real-world evidence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret analysis findings and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in data science and real-world evidence.
- Implement data visualization techniques to effectively communicate analysis results.
- Lead the development of data-driven products and solutions for the healthcare industry.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably with a focus on real-world evidence (RWE) and the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing data science projects.
- Strong knowledge of data mining, statistical modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Solid understanding of database systems and SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find insights in complex datasets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with healthcare data and familiarity with healthcare data standards is highly desirable.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and ethics related to data analysis in healthcare.
