Apply Now!Qualifications/Requirements:In this role, you will conduct Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) activities to merge, cleanse and translate Human Resource (HR) data and to create the “golden record”—the single source of truth regarding our Airmen, both military and civilian. The objectives are achieved by leveraging best-of-breed, modern data management and ETL tools within the cloud-hosted environment that delivers secure, visible, accessible, understandable, trusted, and cost-effective information for Airmen and decision makers. Integrates changes or modifications to the data environments, servers, and supporting databases. Consults with and advises Division leadership concerning the data environments, servers, and supporting databases. Supports, manages, and maintains multiple production, staging, training, and test databases for the Data Management Environment (DME). Creates and maintains roadmaps and milestone documentation to track activities and brief leadership. Administers the day-to-day database operation and maintenance in a complex environment which requires extensive organization and coordination. Ensures that the database efficiently collects, stores, and processes large volumes of data. Runs utility routines programs and investigates when reports indicate a decline in computer performance. Oversees and monitors data environments' system interconnections with approved external systems and ensures that functional interconnection requirements are met through technical execution of data exchanges, including designing, managing and troubleshooting of ETL procedures. Designs and develops changes or modifications to the database when there are conflicting requirements and numerous complex problems. Designs, plans, implements, supports and maintains production, staging, testing, and training databases for DME.Must be a U.S. CitizenMust be able to obtain & maintain a “Secret” Security clearanceMust achieve IAT Level II certification within six months of assignment. Baseline certifications include CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND, SSCP.Skill in creating and managing users and roles and managing database, table, object level permissions, database performance monitoring, designing and implementing stored procedures, packages, and triggers for monitoring database performance, database tuning, SQL statements tuning, database backup and recovery, and development of integrated components of the data environment.Skill in implementation and documentation of data sourcing, data dictionaries, data models, file/database designs, ETL processes, user testing, and data development lifecycle.Mastery Knowledge of advanced SQL and database structures, to include data lakes and data warehouses, and of operating systems software and database concepts to envision problems which would be encountered by applications programmers using various database structures.Skill in creating and managing users and roles and managing database, table, object level permissions, database performance monitoring, designing and implementing stored procedures, packages, and triggers for monitoring database performance, database tuning, SQL statements tuning, database backup and recovery, and development of integrated components of the data environment.Ability to envision problems which would be encountered by applications programmers using various database structures, to modify existing systems, and to advise on alternative approaches in operating systems development and/or problem resolution related to database management systems.Ability to analyze complexities of existing technology, review/revise/develop policy, initiate plans forenhancements, and provide management sufficient technical and cost analysis information, through written documentation and oral briefings, to render informed judgments and to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements.HIGHLY DESIRED:Security +, SQL, Data Analysis, Data Management, Python, AWS, Informatica, Data Architect, Database Administration, and/or Data Development.
