Build New Hampshire.The State of New Hampshire, Department of Transportation, Bureau of Highway Design, has multiple full-time vacancies for Senior Design Engineers (Civil Engineer IV).Summary: To coordinate and supervise the roadway design of a group of Highway Projects.YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal educationMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Master's degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in engineering.Experience: Four (4) years of post-baccalaureate experience in engineering.OREducation: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in engineering.Experience: Six (6) years of post-baccalaureate experience in engineering.OREducation: Associate's degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in engineering or engineering technology.Experience: Six (6) years of experience in engineering at a level equivalent to Civil Engineer I (or higher), plus two (2) additional years of experience in a position comparable to an Engineering Technician.License/Certification: 1. Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Hampshire or a Licensed Professional Engineer in another state and obtain licensure in New Hampshire within one (1) year of employment. Licensure designation must be in Civil, Civil Highway, Geo Technical or Structural Engineering. 2. Must possess a valid driver's license and/or have access to transportation for statewide travel.
