Job Description Infosys is seeking Senior Desktop Administrator who will manage technical support services to all employees in supported offices. This is a hands-on role where the resource will provide both remote and desktop support as well as assist with projects like storage implementation, server and network upgrades and mobile computing reviews. Required Qualifications: •Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel. •Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education. •At least 1 year of Information Technology experience. •Experience in evaluating user requests and requirements and recommend effective IT hardware technological solutions •Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals •Assist with administering corporate infrastructure including Active Directory, Email, and various computer management applications •Perform advanced troubleshooting, system upgrades and replacements for employees IT needs •Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain software applications & infrastructure and perform root cause analysis •Provide advanced support for operating system drivers, software and firmware •Actively monitoring the ticket queue and managing requests through to completion. Manage escalations from team members •Housekeeping on IT rooms, setup and installation of Temporary training rooms / Office wide events - Expo's, Comms room patching •Experience with Service Now, Windows OS 10, 11 is a must •Provide support to users for home connection and work from home set upFirm laptop or personal laptop + virtual machine •Manage own workload to ensure that assigned activities are completed within targets defined within SLA's/OLA's •All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply Preferred Qualifications: •Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer care skills •Shell scripting experience needed (Windows PowerShell, Perl, Windows cmd line) •Technical grasp of strategic platforms such as Microsoft, Networks and Security, WAN, LAN •Industry standard certifications a plus (MCSA, A+, Network+, CCENT, CCT) •An understanding of ITIL Service Support and Delivery disciplines and methodologies •Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project).
