OverviewGovCIO is seeking a Technical Lead with experience in robotic process automation products to lead a dynamic team of innovators in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Platform Project.This position is fully remote.ResponsibilitiesCandidates must be highly organized, adaptable, and intellectually curious self-starters who have a passion for innovation and collaboration. The candidate will be responsible for successfully executing project tasks and for ensuring coordination and desired outcomes are accomplished. The environment is dynamic, and flexibility and forward-thinking views are important for success.Leads technical team assessing new requests, determining the necessary tasks, then organizing the team to successfully accomplish the workCoordinates with government lead and provides updates on project(s) statusInnovates on new technology and approaches to address the RPA workProvides technical support for RPA platform management and developersConducts full security package reviews on all patches, and minor and major releasesProvides input and support for the Data Warehouse for platform metrics and development teams' custom metrics for automationsMetrics include – transaction time, run time, return on investment, hours run, uptime, exceptions, etc.Develops and supports the CI/CD pipeline for automations in the review, release, and promotion lifecycleConducts Data Reliability Framework for RPAProvides RPA status and metrics reporting that includes:Monthly RPA automation metrics reportingWeekly RPA automation status reportingData Product Line quarterly score cardsProvides input to RPA strategy and planning sessions to highlight completed program milestones and plans for upcoming fiscal year tasksManages utilization of, and license tracking for vendor platformFacilitates customer through Authority to Deploy (ATD) processFacilitates customer interaction with system integratorEnsures required documentation (PDD, SDD, Runbook, Test Plan) are delivered by system integratorAssesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectivesQualificationsRequired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Operations Research, or related fields15+ years of experienceOr, Master's Degree may be substituted for 2 years of required experience with a Bachelor's DegreeExperience with robotic process automationExperience working with UI PathExperience managing Agile teamsKnowledge of architecture conceptsExperience taking requirements and requests and delivering robust solutions, products, and/or recommendationsExperience using Jira or similar tool to organize and manage team's workExperience with Salesforce, SharePoint, and ConfluenceProduct delivery experience within IT organizationsStrong analytical and investigative skillsMust be able to identify and mitigate program risks, and escalate risks as necessaryMust be a problem solverPreferred Skills and ExperienceExperience working within the VA Office of Information TechnologyExperience with KubernetesExperience migrating from on-premise to SAASExperience working on remote Agile teamsClearance Required:Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability / Public Trust clearanceCompany OverviewGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
