- Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair vehicle electrical systems to ensure proper operation
- Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair diesel vehicles
- Engine diagnostics, repair
- Knowledge of welding
- Ability to ensure proper operation/diagnose/repair of:
- Alternator/Starter/Battery
- Brakes/suspension/steering
- Knowledge of Hydraulics
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Consistent communication with supervisors including relevant issues relating to maintenance of company vehicles
- Uphold company standards by maintaining a professional appearance
Job Qualifications (including but not limited to):Must be detail oriented and have good organizational and communication skillsMust be able to stand, bend, lift heavy objects and be on the move intermittently for shifts of at least 8 hoursProficiency in English speaking, reading and writing skillsAdaptability to frequently changing environmentsAbility to work in stressful situations4 years min related mechanical/electrical experience Certification Requirements:Obtain a commercial driver's license (Class B) within 9 months of employmentMust be able to obtain SIDA clearance for operation on the AOA (Airport Operations Area)ASE certification or accredited technical certification is required, and candidate should be maintaining certifications to improve advancement opportunities.Job Specific Requirements:Flexibility and availability to work assigned schedule, which may include night, weekends, and holidays in an emergencyAvailability to work overtime as neededSuccessful completion of background check, TSA check, and drug screenExposure to hot and cold temperatures and loud noises requiredSuccessful completion of mechanics aptitude test*conditions and terms apply
